About Billie Spell
Billie Spell is the Founder and Principal of CBE Leading Now.
With 25+ years of experience leading in the telecommunications and technology sectors, Ms Spell has practical real world knowledge and leadership experience and a proven record of delivering results. A graduate of the University of San Francisco with a B.S. in Information Systems Management, she has deep and broad business experience as a senior leader across a variety of disciplines including software engineering, business process management, quality assurance and customer service.
Billie is a Certified Leader Mentor with the Arch of Leadership, acting as mentor to senior leaders in the Silicon Valley. Arch of Leadership provides Leader Mentors who help developing leaders to fully commit and enter the life of creative leading in order to build organizational value, inspire success and enhance quality of life.
Prior to founding CBE to pursue her passion for inspiring bold new leaders, Billie held senior leadership positions in Covad Communications, SBC Wireless and Pacific Bell. As a senior leader, Billie’s responsibilities included strategic planning, program management, SOX compliance, software development and delivery, sales operations and customer care.
Billie is a State of California certified mediator and has been appointed by the Mountain View City Council to serve as a Mediator for the City in disputes between neighbors, businesses and other matters. She is also a trained facilitator and facilitates at city and corporate events.
